The Word of God, the gospel of our salvation came to us at a great price.
He simply said, “Leave them alone, they be blind leaders of the blind, and if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” Mt 15:14 His own disciples said to him, don’t you know you have offended them by calling them hypocrites. Jesus, who did no sin, yet sheltered not his audience from the truth about themselves. John the Baptist began his ministry by calling his audience a “generation of vipers.” Lk 3:7 Who had the audacity to call the Pharisees hypocrites, snakes, wicked, adulterous, fools, blind guides, and murderers of the prophets? That’s right, it was Jesus Christ.
Audacity as defined by Webster dictionary simply means: Fearlessly Bold and Rude Behavior.
